GET THE CARE YOU DESERVE

Solace and Healing Counseling LLC

Solace & Healing Counseling LLC is a private practice serving residents of Rhode Island, Virginia, Florida, Missouri, and Vermont. Our growing team of clinicians offers a range of counseling and healing services to support individuals and couples in finding their purpose, embracing hope, and navigating life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. We integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches with the truths of the Catholic faith to provide care that attends to the whole person, mind, body, and soul.

We work with adults and couples facing a variety of concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, OCD (including scrupulosity), relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Whether clients are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, we provide a compassionate and structured space to explore their experiences and move toward healing.

Our approach is both practical and personalized. We help clients build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and learn skills to regulate emotions, strengthen relationships, and foster lasting change. Through this process, individuals and couples are empowered to regain a sense of control, deepen their resilience, and move forward with greater peace and purpose.

Our Team

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and devout Catholic. I have always been passionate about integrating faith and evidence-based practices in my work with clients. I have experience working in various mental health settings, such as private practice, mental health crisis centers, and community mental health centers. I have worked with individuals living with disabilities and experiencing mental health and substance abuse issues.

I am honored to hear your story and walk alongside you through your healing process. I lean towards an eclectic approach to psychotherapy and use more than one theoretical approach to better meet your therapeutic needs.

One of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. My ideal client is focused on personal growth and healing. If you feel stressed, anxious, and scared, this is a great time to reach out and find support. My goal is to help you navigate through challenges, make sense of your experiences, and find hope, joy, and healing in your life.

I am honored to join you in your healing journey! I am a licensed independent clinical social worker and a practicing Catholic. I have over 25 years of experience working with young adults, adults, and families with extensive experience within the university setting, community mental health centers, social service organizations, and hospitals. I believe true healing comes from the integration of mind, body and spirit. Grounded in my Catholic faith and recognizing the benefits of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, I meet clients where they are. I strive to create a therapeutic environment where a client’s faith is honored and integrated according to the client’s comfort level and preferences.

Each session is tailored with you in mind, offering a safe and comfortable space for you to be yourself. I work hard to build a trusting and authentic relationship that encourages change, growth, and healing. I see each person as unique and approach every story with respect and compassion.

Reaching out for support can feel intimidating, and I want to acknowledge the strength it takes to do so. I aim to help you recognize your inherent dignity, and walk alongside you in the healing process while supporting you in discovering deeper freedom and joy.
